ARTS & BUSINESS LISTINGS
Terms & Conditions of Use

To be included into the Arts & Business Directory you must be operating a business or arts studio located in any of the following surrounding communities:  Chemainus, Saltair, Ladysmith, Cedar, Duncan, Cowichan Bay, Cowichan Lake, Mill Bay and Maple Bay areas.  These can include retail, service, manufacturing and home-based businesses, artist and artisan studios.  See exclusions*   Application Form Here OR email if you have further questions.

There are three levels of inclusion:

(1) PREMIUM Directory Listing

  • Business name, contact name, address information, phone number(s) and business description (up to 100 words) including your business logo or photo**, email address, and website address. 
  • 2 category listings
  • $75.00 yearly subscription

(2) REGULAR Directory Listing

  • Business name, contact name, address information, local phone number, photo or logo, and business description (up to 65 words),
  • 1 category listing
  • $50.00 yearly subscription

(3) FREE BASIC Directory Listing

  • Business name, contact name, address, local phone number ONLY
  • 1 category listing
  • Free
  • Upgrade to Premium Listing for email and URL inclusions

 

  1. Once we have received your listing via the online application, it will be reviewed for inclusion in our database.  We require an email address and/or telephone number in order to communicate with you;  please be sure that one or the other, or both are included or your application will not be considered.  On acceptance, Premium and Basic listings businesses will be invoiced directly via secure Paypal payment subscriptions. Once payment has been received for premium and basic listings, then your listing will be included in the directory within 24 hours. 
  2. Additional information may be required for the main website Section listings (if it applies).
  3. This is a community website.  We do not accept any listing that promotes hatred, pornography, or otherwise objectionable material. We have the right to refuse any content or listing.
  4. If a listing has been refused prior to inclusion, then the paid subscription fee will be reimbursed.
  5. *Exclusions:
    • Political organizations. 
  6. **photo or logo must be in either of gif or jpg file formats, and must not exceed 250 pixels either dimension. If your photo or logo does not conform to the specifications and needs to be sized, then a small additional fee may be charged.
  7. All efforts will be made to provide information accurately.  Contact the webmaster if there are any questions about your listing.  An editing fee will be applied if changes to the business or arts listings are requested after they appear.   Changes done at renewal time will be free.
