TERMS & CONDITIONS of ADVERTISING
- Advertising is open to businesses or art studios in the Chemainus and Cowichan Valley regional areas, encompassing Chemainus, Crofton, Ladysmith, Cedar, Yellow Point, Duncan, Cowichan Bay, Mill Bay, and Lake Cowichan. Businesses outside of this region not considered. If you are not sure, please contact us.
- Setting up an account is free.
- Once a listing has been received via the online application, it will be reviewed for inclusion in our database. We require an email address and/or telephone number in order to communicate with you; please be sure that one or the other, or both are included or your application will not be considered. On acceptance, Fee based listings can be paid directly through our Paypal account. Once payment has been processed your listing will be included in the directory within 24 hours.
- The fee is for a one year subscription, renewing each year automatically.
Cancellation is done through your own account in Paypal.
No pro-rating or refunds are given to partial subscriptions.
Once your subscription is cancelled or expires, your listing is automatically removed from the online database. - If a listing application is declined, then no fees are charged or are fully refunded if already paid.
- Live maps are auto generated based on the address you provide.
- PHOTOS: Using quality pictures is good for your business.
- We recommend photos be no larger than 600 px either direction.
- All photos must be in .jpg format; no other format is acceptable. Thumbnails are automatically generated. If you need help with this, please contact us.
This is a community website. We do not accept any listing that promotes hatred, pornography, or otherwise objectionable material. We have the right to refuse any content or listing. Listing content that violates copyright, uses any inappropriate material for public viewing will be removed immediately; no refund will be given.
