Sculpture, glass and pottery artists have a long tradition in the Chemainus and Cowichan Valley region of Vancopuver Island.  Folk Art, wood and stone carving, original glass designs - blown glass and formed glass, and pottery, both thrown and formed are prevalent in the area.  Many of these high calibre, professional artisans have attained success throughout Canada and internationally with their original, and finely crafted works.
